Who is the bootcamp for?

The bootcamp is for any parent of a child who wants to help them learn to read but doesn’t know about what phonics is. Whether you have a baby or a child who has recently started at school this course is for you.

Shouldn’t I just leave this to the teachers?

There is so much that can be done before they start at school to ensure your child has the best start possible in their reading journey. Plus, so much of a child’s learning happens when they get home. We want to show our child that we know about phonics so we can help them learn to read confidently.

Is the content different to your on-demand course for parents?

The content is exactly the same but there will be additional information and resources.

Why should I do it live instead of on-demand?

Some parents prefer live content whereas others prefer the flexibility of on-demand courses that can be watched at your own pace. This live 5-week course will be suited to parents who want the opportunity to have regular access to the teacher, and who want to be kept accountable during the month.

Is it worth the price?

Yes! You have access to me for an entire month, you can ask me questions as we progress through the challenge. This is perfect for parents who want accountability- and, if you turn up each week and put in the work, it works out to be just $50 a session (if you attend all of the sessions), which is a bargain!

What qualifies you to teach this?

I’ve been a teacher for 15 years and have spent my entire career focusing on reading. I have worked as a literacy lead, a teacher trainer, a head of department, a parent reading coach… but most importantly… I’ve done it myself! Can I ask questions in the course?

Absolutely! Every LIVE session will end with a Q&A plus you will have the opportunity to ask questions during the sessions. I will ensure everyone has the chance to ask their questions.

Is it just a lot of theory?

Definitely not! This course is packed with actionable advice, resources and real-life examples of me teaching real children! It is designed for you to immediately start on this journey today!

Do I get recordings of the workshops?
