Meet Your Teacher
I’m Miss Mabel: a mum of 3, a reading expert and a teacher for the last 15 years. Through teaching my own children to read from an early age, I’ve become increasingly aware of how many adults lack a basic understanding of how children learn to read.
I’ve dedicated the last 6 years of my career to supporting parents with phonics. Phonics is a mystery to most adults (because it isn’t the way we learnt to read!) but it doesn’t have to be this way.
I’ve made it my mission to help others gain this knowledge, ensuring every child receives the right support at home during these crucial early years.
I have now taught thousands of parents how to teach their children to read using my 4-Step Formula.
